How long does it take to cut a record?
It takes the entire length of the audio being cut plus about 5 minutes of additional time for setup and cleanup.
How much does it cost to cut a record?
It costs $25 per record, plus shipping or if you are in Seattle we can arrange pickup.
How many records can I cut?
We can cut up to 10 records at a time. If you really need more than that we can discuss it on a case by case basis.
Do you handle artwork?
No, we do not handle artwork. The records are on clear plastic, so you can add your own artwork. We can add simple standard center labels for an additonal cost.
How long does it take to ship a record?
It takes 1-2 weeks to ship a record, but we can rush it for an additional cost.
How much audio fits on a record?
It depends on size and RPM, we current only offer 7 inch square records. At 33⅓ RPM you can fit about 7 minutes of audio; at 45RPM you can fit about 5 minutes of audio.
Can I cut *insert popular song*?
No, if you have to ask if you have permission to do it then you probably can not.
If you had access to your own lathe you could cut anything for your personal use, but we can not cut it for you.
